General Rental Information The renter and the driver have to be in possession of a valid driving license. Driving license printed with non-Roman alphabet (Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, etc) must be complemented by an International driving license. If the renter or driver has been in Belarus for longer than 3 months, he needs to present a driving license issued in Belarus.  Special rental information by booking of Prepaid rates Changing booking

A booking can be changed up to 48 hours before the start of the rental (on availability) in return for an alteration charge of EUR 20. Any payment already made towards the rental will not be refunded; nor shall any differential amount be refunded if this alteration leads to a lesser rental cost.

Cancellation

A booking can be cancelled before the rental begins. In the event of cancellation, the payment in advance already made towards the rental shall be paid back subject to a cancellation charge, which will be withheld and shall be in the amount of the rental charge (including any extras and charges) for a maximum of 3 rental days. Cancellations can be made online or in writing and must be addressed to: ORANGE-RENT Co Ltd, Pritytskogo str. 156, room 19, 12 floor 220017 - Minsk, Republic of Belarus, Email: reservations(at)sixt.by. 

No-show

In the event that the booked vehicle is not collected or not collected at the agreed time the rental charge already paid shall be withheld in full.

Age Restrictions

In Belarus the following rules apply for the minimum age / possession of a driver's licence:

21 years/ 2 years for vehicles in groups:
M***, E***, C***, I***, FDAR, FFAR, FFMR, S***

25 years/ 3 years for vehicles in groups:
PDAR, PFAR, FVMR, FVAR, LDAR, XDAR, XFAR

Conditions of Payment

Flexi Tariff

We accept all credit cards from internationally recognized credit card companies - such as Eurocard/Mastercard, Visa.

American Express Credit Cards are not accepted.

We do accept prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron).

Cash Payment is not accepted.

Sixt Express Card is only accepted in combination with a valid Credit Card.

Prepaid Tariff

The following credit cards are accepted: Eurocard/Mastercard and VISA Card. American Express Credit Cards are not accepted. We do accept prepaid cards or debit cards (Visa Electron). Cash Payment is not accepted.

The renter must be the owner of the indicated credit card. The authorized driver details and method of payment will be confirmed at reservation stage and cannot be amended. The confirmed and imprinted credit card should be valid at least 3 months and available for presentation on collection of the vehicle. All extra costs that occur during the car rental will be charged to this credit card.

By booking of a prepaid rate, the credit card will be charged before the start of rental, directly with the estimated total amount of rental. The amount that will be charged on your credit card comprises the price of rental as well as all additional extra fees.

The rental charge (plus any other charges agreed such as, e.g. exemptions from liability, delivery charges, airport charges etc.) plus value added tax in the statutory amount applicable from time to time must, as a matter of principle, be paid in full for the agreed rental period, i.e. if the vehicle is collected late or returned early there shall be no refund.

General Insurance Conditions

Third Party Insurance (TI)

Protection coverage for the vehicle includes Third Party Liability with a maximum cover of EUR 10,000 for personal injuries and material damages. Maximum cover for personal injuries is EUR 10,000 per injured person per insured event.

Excluded from the protection is the use of the vehicle for the transport of dangerous goods. All protection as part of the rental contract will become void, in particular, if an unauthorized driver has used the vehicle or if the driver of the vehicle does not possess the required driver's license at the time of the event giving rise to claim.

Loss Damage Waiver (LDW)

All rates are inclusive of LDW.

Customer is only responsible for the following amounts:

Top Cover LDW

If LDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Top Cover LDW to reduce the Non-Waiverable Responsibility.

If Top Cover LDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts:

EUR 200.- ECMR, ECAR, EDMR, EDAR
EUR 250.- CCCC, CDMR, CDAR, CLMR, CWMR, CWAR, CLAR, IDMR, IDAR, IWMR, IWAR, ILAR, IFMR, IFAR
EUR 300.- SDAR, SWAR, FDAR, SFAR, FFMR, FFAR
EUR 400.- LDAR, PDAR, FVMR, FVAR, PFAR
EUR 600.- XDAR, XFAR

Super Top Cover LDW

If Top Cover LDW is already included in the rates, the renter can choose Super Top Cover LDW to eliminate the Non-Waiverable Responsibility.

If Super Top Cover LDW is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: EUR 0.

Tire and Glass Coverage (GT)

Glass and Tire Coverage provides cover against the consequences of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and backwindow.

If GT is not accepted the customer will be held liable for the full value of damages on tires, windscreen, side windows and backwindow.

If GT is accepted, customer is only responsible for the following amounts: EUR 0.

Delivery & Collection

Within city limits of Minsk a charge of EUR 12 applies for a Delivery/Collection Service.

Out Of Hours Rental

A surcharge of EUR 25 applies for all bookings/rentals out of hours.

One-Way Rentals

National

For One-Way Rentals within Sixt locations in Belarus a charge of EUR 100 applies.

International

All international One-Way Rentals are possible on request.

Cross Border Rentals & Territorial Restrictions 

Ferry crosses and cross border rentals are allowed with all car groups. A foreign use charge of EUR 18 per rental applies.

Premium Location Fee

There is no Premium location fee for rentals at airport or railway station.

Accessories are bookable without obligation and subject to availability.

Additional Driver

An Additional Driver Surcharge applies, for one Additional Driver EUR 12 per rental.

Refueling Charge

All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel and should be refilled prior to return to Sixt, otherwise a charge of EUR 1.50 per liter of petrol or EUR 1.50 per liter of diesel will apply.

VAT

20%

All rates are inclusive of VAT (if VAT incurs).

For corporate customers with individual agreements alternative prices and regulations can apply.
